El Dorado County (March 16, 2024) –  In the harmonious realms of musical wonder, the El Dorado County Community Concert Association (EDCCCA) beckons with its fifth serenade of the 2023-24 season. Mark your calendars, for Tuesday, March 19, at 7 p.m., the stage will shimmer with the celestial sounds of the Sons of Serendip.

Hailing from the corridors of classical-crossover distinction, the Sons of Serendip first enraptured the masses and the discerning ears of judges alike as finalists on the grand stage of America’s Got Talent (NBC). Their melodies, a divine fusion of pop music adorned with a unique symphony of vocals, harp, piano, and cello, have since etched a lasting impression on the hearts of listeners.

With four sonorous albums to their name—“Sons of Serendip,” “Christmas: Beyond the Lights,” “Life + Love,” and “Mosaic”—the quartet has traversed the globe, leaving a trail of enchanted audiences in their wake. Collaborations with luminaries such as Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops, the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, and Cynthia Erivo stand testament to their musical prowess.

In the annals of their journey, notable performances abound, including a captivating showcase at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards (FXX) and a triumphant return to the America’s Got Talent stage in 2019 for the inaugural America’s Got Talent: The Champions. Their acclaim knows no bounds, with prestigious engagements ranging from the Oprah Winfrey 2020 Vision Tour to representing the United States at Dubai’s EXPO 2020 in 2022.

For those yet to bask in the enchantment of Sons of Serendip, fear not. Non-members are welcomed with open arms, their passage to this auditory oasis granted for a modest fee of $25 at the door ($10 for students). However, heed the call early, for the journey commences promptly at 7 p.m., and only the currency of cash or checks shall secure your entry.
