This year, the events will feature a panel of undercover judges evaluating nonprofit presentations, with the top-scoring organization receiving a $500 award. Attendees will enjoy brief, impactful presentations from local nonprofits, followed by opportunities to connect over craft beverages and light snacks.

“Philanthropy On Tap is a dynamic way to spotlight the incredible work of our local nonprofits,”

said a representative from the El Dorado Community Foundation.

“By adding a friendly competition, we aim to further engage the community and encourage nonprofits to hone their messaging.”

Event Details:

  • Tahoe Event: Thursday, June 5, 5–7 p.m. at The Hangar Lake Tahoe, 2401 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. Due to limited parking, attendees are encouraged to bike or carpool.

  • Western Slope Event: Thursday, June 12, 5–7 p.m. at Jack Russell Farm Brewery, 2380 Larsen Dr., Camino, CA 95709.

Each nonprofit will have 60–90 seconds to present their mission, programs, and needs. After the presentations, attendees can mingle and network. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, with light snacks provided by the Foundation. These events are free and open to the public; no registration is required for attendees.

Nonprofits interested in presenting must register at bit.ly/on-tap-2025. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
