As the March 5, 2024, California Primary Election looms just two months away, the League of Women Voters of El Dorado County is set to play a pivotal role in fostering civic engagement through a series of candidate forums for the Board of Supervisors race.

In a bid to ensure an informed and engaged electorate, the League of Women Voters welcomes questions from the public. Questions can be submitted via email to lwveldoradocounty@gmail.com. It’s important to note that the Department of Elections in El Dorado County retains the right to sort and combine similar questions, emphasizing their commitment to covering a broad spectrum of voter concerns within the allotted time. The League encourages participants to frame their questions to encompass the entire race rather than focusing solely on individual candidates.

These forums, essential for providing voters with insights into the candidates’ positions and priorities, will be meticulously recorded and subsequently made available on the League’s YouTube channel.
