Pleasant Valley, CA (Feb 1, 2025) – The Gold Oak Union School District (GOUSD) Board of Trustees has unanimously appointed Jennifer Kloczko as the new district superintendent/principal during its regular board meeting on January 14.
Kloczko’s distinguished career spans more than 25 years in education, reflecting a deep commitment to transformative leadership and instructional excellence. Notably, she began her journey in education 29 years ago as a teacher at GOUSD, marking a full-circle moment with her return.
As a dedicated site administrator and instructional leader, Kloczko has served TK-12 organizations, specializing in small school districts and fostering strong relationships within close-knit communities. With over a decade of experience as a K-8 administrator, her leadership philosophy centers on building a positive culture, enhancing instructional capacity, and leading with joy.
Expressing her anticipation for the new chapter, Kloczko stated, “I am excited about the opportunity to return to the district that first believed in me and to lead and serve this incredible community’s students, families, staff, and Board of Trustees. I look forward to building strong partnerships throughout the district and working to ensure our students learn at the highest levels.”
Kloczko’s journey in education includes pivotal roles such as principal, assistant principal, Title I coordinator, K-12 ELA co-leader, and K-5 teacher. In addition to her administrative and teaching credentials, she is pursuing her Doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Louisiana Monroe, which is complemented by a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the same institution and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Sacramento.
Drawing on her 17 years of experience as a K-5 teacher, Kloczko is enthusiastic about helping every student achieve success and develop into an empowered, engaged member of the community.
