Pierson’s distinguished career includes authoring the “California Evidence Pocketbook,” serving as president of the California District Attorneys Association, and his tenure as a former 101st Airborne Air Assault military operator. Notably, he led the development and implementation of science-based interviewing and interrogation strategies for California’s law enforcement community.

Evy Poumpouras is a former U.S. Secret Service Special Agent, journalist, author, and speaker known for her expertise in personal resilience, leadership, and communication. She served on the presidential protective division for multiple U.S. presidents, including George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Poumpouras was trained in lie detection, interviewing tactics, and criminal psychology, making her a sought-after expert in security and behavioral analysis.

She is the author of Becoming Bulletproof: Protect Yourself, Read People, Influence Situations, and Live Fearlessly, a book that offers insights into mental resilience, deception detection, and personal empowerment. She has also appeared as a security and law enforcement analyst on networks such as NBC, MSNBC, and CNN.

In addition to her media work, Poumpouras leads Beyond Bulletproof, a training program designed to teach individuals how to build resilience, improve decision-making, and navigate high-stress environments effectively.
