Diamond Springs, Calif.
Firefighters and emergency personnel responded to a traffic collision on Cedar Ravine Road near Camp Nauvoo Road at 10:06 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, involving a single sedan, according to local fire officials.
One driver sustained minor injuries and was transported by medics to Marshall Hospital for treatment. Units from Engine 25, Engine 49, Medic 25, and Division 8102 assisted at the scene. The crash temporarily disrupted traffic in the rural wooded area south of Placerville while crews cleared the scene.
Officials have not released the identity of the driver or the cause of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
