Dec 2, 2024) – Dan Healy has been named the new Vice President and General Manager of Sierra-at-Tahoe, marking a return to the resort where he once served as Director of Snowsports. With nearly three decades of experience in the ski industry, Healy steps into the role following John Rice, who was recently promoted to President of Ski California. Healy’s extensive background includes leadership positions at top resorts such as Solitude Mountain Resort, where he excelled in operational management, team building, and driving guest-focused initiatives.

As General Manager, Healy will oversee all operations at Sierra-at-Tahoe, a resort celebrated for its strong community ties and dedication to an exceptional guest experience. His responsibilities include fostering relationships with local and state stakeholders, advancing snowsports programs, and enhancing operational efficiency. Known for his innovative approach, Healy has previously developed programs to promote inclusivity in snowsports and successfully managed technological upgrades to improve operational performance.
