Services Affected:

On the upcoming holiday, the following services will be temporarily suspended:

  1. Local Fixed Routes: Regular routes within the local service area will be paused for the day.
  2. Commuter Routes: Commuter services connecting various regions will also be on hiatus during the MLK Jr. Day observance.
  3. Dial-A-Ride Services: Personalized Dial-A-Ride services will not be available on January 15, 2024.

Exception: Sacramento/South Lake Tahoe Connecting Bus

It’s worth noting that the Sacramento/South Lake Tahoe Connecting bus will buck the trend, operating on a normal weekday schedule on Monday, January 15th. This exception ensures that commuters relying on this vital link will experience minimal disruptions during the holiday.

For individuals seeking more information about the South Lake Tahoe Connector, detailed resources can be found at El Dorado Transit’s official website.

Normal Operations Resume on January 16, 2024:

El Dorado Transit assures the public that all services, including Local Fixed Routes, Commuter Routes, and Dial-A-Ride Services, will resume their regular operations on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
