EL DORADO COUNTY SHERIFF’S BLOTTER — MARCH 16, 2026

Nine arrests cut across El Dorado County on March 16, with Placerville and South Lake Tahoe carrying the weight.
Domestic violence charges led the sheet, including a felony corporal injury arrest on Lewis Street.
DUI arrests surfaced in both Placerville and South Lake Tahoe, alcohol again writing its name into the log.
Drug possession and driving on a suspended license added to the Broadway arrest tally.
Criminal threats cases emerged in Placerville and at Bass Lake, both carrying felony weight.
A multi-count felony arrest in Cameron Park tied together elder abuse, vehicle theft, and domestic violence in one file.
Probation violation and obstruction charges rounded out the day’s bookings.
By nightfall, the cells were full and the paperwork stacked high—another day, another ledger of trouble.

EL DORADO COUNTY SHERIFF’S BLOTTER — MARCH 16, 2026
Filed from the night desk, where the coffee’s burnt and the facts don’t blink.

PLACERVILLE

The night broke early on Lewis Street when Marina Mendezlueras was taken in on suspicion of domestic violence, simple battery, and drunk disorderly conduct, bail set at $54,000.
By midday on Broadway, Paul Goss Sr. landed in cuffs on narcotics possession, suspended license, and a double hit of DUI counts.
Over on Placerville Drive, Jeremy Lacey was booked without bail on a straight probation violation—no frills, no second chances.
Three collars, same town, different trouble—booze, dope, and the long arm of a court order catching up.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE

Morning came with resistance on Al Tahoe Boulevard as Linda Fordham was booked for contempt of court and obstructing officers.
Not long before, Gary Rueb III was picked up on a DUI charge—alcohol on the breath, numbers over the line.
Two arrests, same strip of pavement—one fighting the badge, the other losing to the bottle.

CAMERON PARK / RESCUE AREA

At Acorn Ranch Road, Caitlyn Wertz was booked on a domestic battery charge tied to a relationship dispute.
Later at Bass Lake Park & Ride, Maurquice Jacobs was arrested on a stack of felony charges—criminal threats, elder abuse, domestic violence, and stolen vehicle counts among them.
Two scenes, miles apart, same story—violence close to home and trouble that travels.

PLACERVILLE (COUNTY FACILITIES)

At Fair Lane, Trevor Young was booked on a felony charge of making criminal threats—words sharp enough to bring the cuffs.
Another quiet address, another loud allegation.

EL DORADO COUNTY (UNINCORPORATED)

Night closed out on Windlestraw as Nathan Saylor was arrested on suspicion of aggravated elder abuse—one of the day’s heaviest charges.
One call, one victim, one more case headed for the long road through court.
