Incident reported by Placerville Police – Cops rolled up on the Navigation Center off Fair Lane for a woman raising hell and refusing to clear out.
The suspect, Daisy Peneueta Vaopuninatagi, dug in at the front door—ignored two officers, ignored her own social worker on the line.
After a round of patience and polite warnings, the officers moved in for the hook.
Vaopuninatagi fought back—twisting from the cuffs, kicking from the backseat, and trying to boot out the cruiser’s rear windows.
The jail got the heads-up she was coming in hot.
Corrections staff braced for trouble; nobody got scratched.
No damage to department gear, just a night of wasted breath and bruised egos.
Vaopuninatagi now rests behind bars in El Dorado County Jail, cooling off from her one-woman protest.
