Calls for service logged Friday, Feb. 13, across western El Dorado County show a steady drumbeat of domestic disputes, theft calls, suspicious-person checks and court-order violations handled by the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office. Entries below are arranged by local area.

EL DORADO HILLS AREA

Domestic trouble opened the morning on Town Center Boulevard with deputies taking a report after a verbal disturbance between known parties. Applegrove Circle generated two suspicious-circumstance calls before sunrise, one cleared unable to assist, the second handled and logged in service. A civil standby was requested at John Adams Academy, then canceled before completion. Another domestic violence call hit Arrowhead Drive just after 1:40 p.m., report taken, case forwarded. Cottonwood School drew a suspicious-circumstances complaint midafternoon; deputies arrived to find the subject gone. Scenic Court produced a suspicious-subject stop, parties advised and released. Rapallo Place closed the district log with a late-night battery report that was canceled before full action. The hill kept patrol cars busy, but most calls ended with paperwork, not cuffs.

Spotlight — Charge Blurbs (El Dorado Hills)

  • Arrowhead Domestic Call — Fresh domestic report, deputies took the book.

  • Town Center Verbal Blowup — Heated words, formal report filed.

  • Schoolyard Suspicion at Cottonwood — Caller flags trouble, subject ghosts the scene.

  • Scenic Court Lurker Check — Suspicious subject ID’d and warned.

PLACERVILLE AREA

Pleasant Valley Road kicked off the day just after 1 a.m. with a domestic violence report and a formal case number. A Jacquier Road address drew a dawn noise complaint; deputies intervened and settled it. Midmorning brought a suspicious-subject check on Anthis Drive, cleared without violation. Retail theft calls stacked up along Missouri Flat Road, starting with a petty theft in progress at Walmart, handled on scene. Early evening, a drunk-in-public call came in at Safeway, subject checked and cleared. Deputies later made an officer-initiated contact for a loitering complaint at Five Below, party advised and moved along. Cold Springs Road logged a court-order violation report with assistance given. The Placerville grid showed the usual mix: domestic friction, store theft, public intoxication and paper violations.

Spotlight — Charge Blurbs (Placerville)

SHINGLE SPRINGS & EL DORADO AREA

Dolomite Drive logged two separate civil standby requests, one assisted, one canceled. Lollipop Lane closed out with a lost-property report taken for record. Activity was procedural, not physical — disputes, documents and deputy presence. No arrests were listed in these entries. The shift leaned administrative. Paper trails over jail trails.

  • Dolomite Double Standby — Civil keeps the peace, then canceled.

Camino Heights Drive and Patterson Drive each generated suspicious-circumstance calls, both worked and cleared. Garden Valley saw the day’s larger property case — a grand theft report on Winding Creek Lane — referred to an outside agency. Cameron Park added a verbal disturbance on Palmer Drive, parties advised. A petty-theft-in-progress call at CVS Pharmacy in Cameron Park was canceled before enforcement action. South Lake Tahoe logged a court-order violation that was referred out. The edges of the county showed scattered sparks, no sustained fire.
