Countywide | From Tahoe to the Valley
Deputies spent the early hours chasing verbal disputes and suspicious vehicles from South Lake Tahoe to Shingle Springs, most ending with warnings or clear checks.
A grand theft was reported before dawn in Cameron Park, followed shortly by a battery call in Camino that resulted in a report taken.
By morning, Placerville units were tied up assisting on suspicious circumstances, including a death investigation on Moccasin Trail that generated a formal report.
Cameron Park and El Dorado Hills logged a steady run of verbal disputes, battery calls, and suspicious vehicle stops through midday.
South Lake Tahoe deputies handled a court order violation and a snow tow citation as winter conditions complicated enforcement.
The afternoon brought more theft reports, including incidents in Garden Valley and at a local El Dorado Hills saloon.
Retail locations on Missouri Flat Road drew multiple calls for suspicious subjects, trespassing, and disturbances as evening approached.
The night closed with verbal disputes and trespass calls in Pollock Pines and Rescue, most settled without arrests.
