El Dorado Hills (Oct 29, 2024) – On Sunday, October 27, 2024, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant on a residence in El Dorado Hills, culminating in the arrest of 67-year-old Anthony Bondura. Bondura is suspected of multiple instances of commercial theft, specifically targeting the local Target store in El Dorado Hills, where he allegedly stole approximately $2,000 in sports-themed trading cards over recent weeks.

Following a detailed investigation, deputies gathered sufficient evidence linking Bondura to the thefts, leading to a warrant for his residence. During the search, deputies recovered the stolen trading cards and other evidence that suggested additional criminal activity. Bondura was subsequently arrested on charges of grand theft and booked into the El Dorado County Jail in Placerville on October 27.
