Deputies and allied agencies booked a run of DUI drivers across the Tahoe Basin and Highway 50 corridor Feb. 7. South Lake Tahoe stops produced multiple alcohol DUI arrests on city streets and beach access roads. One Tahoe-area driver was also charged with driving on a DUI-suspended license. A vehicle registration forgery arrest was logged on Julie Lane. Highway 50 and Silva Way stops added more DUI bookings before dawn. El Dorado County deputies arrested a suspect on a felony probation violation on Pony Express Trail. A domestic-violence court-order violation led to an arrest on Coach Lane with $25,000 bail. A trespass arrest rounded out the day on James Avenue in the Tahoe Basin.
