PLACERVILLE, Calif. — Placerville Speedway is set to ignite the 2025 racing season with the highly anticipated Nor*Cal Posse Shootout and Legends Weekend on Friday and Saturday, May 2–3. This two-night spectacle, presented by Berco Redwood, promises exhilarating dirt track action and a tribute to the sport’s rich heritage
The event will feature Winged 360 Sprint Cars and the Ultimate Sprint Car Series, drawing top-tier drivers from across the region. As part of the speedway’s 60th-anniversary celebrations, Legends Weekend will honor racing icons, including a special appearance by National Sprint Car Hall of Famer Jimmy Sills, who will take to the track in a vintage sprint car.
“The Nor*Cal Posse Shootout is an event that we continue to try and build each season,” said Placerville Speedway Promoter Scott Russell. “We’ve seen some great racing all season long and should be in for a can’t-miss weekend at the shootout.”
