Placerville, CA – (Jan 27, 2025) – Construction is actively progressing on the El Dorado Trail Bike/Pedestrian Overcrossing at Missouri Flat Road, a project aimed at enhancing safety and connectivity for non-motorized trail users. The El Dorado County Department of Transportation has announced that the segment of the trail intersecting Missouri Flat Road will remain closed until May 30, 2025.

This closure includes the trail parking lot adjacent to Sierra Door & Supply, which is scheduled for removal. Plans are underway to construct a larger parking facility as part of the forthcoming Diamond Springs Parkway Phase 1B project, anticipated to commence later in 2025.
