Mobility scooters are frequently used along shoulders, sidewalks, and crossings throughout rural and suburban communities in El Dorado County.
The collision marks another fatal traffic incident in the region as local and state authorities continue emphasizing roadway awareness for both drivers and vulnerable roadway users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and mobility device operators.
