Shingle Springs, CA (Jan 15, 2025) — A male bicyclist sustained major injuries following a collision with an SUV on Tuesday evening, January 14, 2025, in Shingle Springs. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Market Court and Product Drive.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear. The bicyclist, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a local hospital with significant injuries. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
