Placerville, CA (Feb 25, 2025) – Cascada Restaurant, located at 384 Main Street in historic downtown Placerville, California, has been a beloved dining spot known for its fusion of Mexican favorites and California cuisine with a Latin flair. Situated in the remodeled Round Tent Building, the restaurant offers an ambiance that combines old-world architecture with comfortable urban chic. Patrons have enjoyed an extensive wine list featuring local wines, a full bar, and specialty margaritas crafted with premium tequilas and freshly squeezed lime juice.

However, as of February 21, 2025, it was announced that Cascada will be closing, with its last day of operation scheduled for March 2, 2025. The current owners plan to revamp the space into a new concept featuring a taco bar format, aiming to bring “something fresh and fun” to the Placerville dining scene.

While the upcoming changes mark the end of an era for Cascada, the new taco bar concept promises to continue the tradition of offering vibrant and enjoyable dining experiences in the heart of Placerville.
