This incident serves as a reminder that school is in session, and drivers must adhere to the posted speed limits in school zones, which are 25 mph or lower. These limits are strictly enforced to protect students, pedestrians, and drivers.

In an effort to improve safety, the community welcomes a new motorcycle officer focused on enforcing school zone traffic laws, particularly along Silva Valley Parkway. Stay vigilant, slow down, and ensure our school zones remain safe for everyone.
