El Dorado County, CA January 31, 2025 – As a significant winter storm approaches, El Dorado County officials are advising residents to take immediate steps to ensure safety and preparedness. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for areas below 6,500 feet, effective through Sunday evening, with forecasts predicting heavy rainfall and potential flooding.

  • City of South Lake Tahoe Fire Station 3: 2101 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

Residents are advised to bring their own shovels to fill sandbags.
