(INEDC) EDSO Sheriff ARRESTS Blotter EL DORADO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Feb 17 2026
A pre-dawn stop on Highway 50 in El Dorado Hills netted a man on suspicion of transporting and possessing narcotics for sale, bail set at $150,000.
Deputies said the arrest followed a 1:33 a.m. contact at El Dorado Hills Boulevard.
In Placerville, police arrested a man on Placerville Drive on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, bail set at $50,000.
Late morning on Big Oaks Road, deputies booked another man on suspicion of first-degree murder.
No bail was listed in the homicide case.
Elsewhere, a woman was taken into custody at Placer County Jail on a post-release community supervision violation.
The Feb. 17 log shows a sweep of serious felony charges across the county.
Murder, narcotics sales and aggravated assault led the day’s bookings.
