The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office logged reports of a suspected burglary at El Dorado Village Apartments in El Dorado Hills and identity theft on Maidu Drive in Placerville on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026. Deputies also responded to trespassing calls near Pleasant Valley Road in Diamond Springs and at Rescue School, along with suspicious-subject reports at businesses and residential locations throughout the county. Noise complaints, party disturbances and verbal disputes were reported in South Lake Tahoe, Pollock Pines, Placerville, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs and El Dorado Hills. Dispositions varied, with some calls cleared or resolved with advice, while others remained in service or ended without contact or the subject being located.
