El Dorado County, California — Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026

By Area — Activity Breakdown

Placerville & Diamond Springs

Placerville kept deputies busy with theft, battery, disturbance and retail-area suspicious calls. A battery report on Cold Springs Road ended in arrest. Grand theft and multiple suspicious circumstance calls hit Missouri Flat Road, including Walmart contacts and solicitor complaints. Verbal disturbance and ordinance violation calls stacked through the afternoon and evening. Diamond Springs logged a trespass assist and a civil standby before nightfall.

Cameron Park & Rescue

Cameron Park generated repeated court-order and disturbance traffic. A Cambridge Road court-order violation produced an arrest, with a second order-violation call later on Covello Circle. Pizza Factory and nearby intersections drew suspicious-circumstance checks. Civil activity and follow-ups produced mixed results, including unable-to-locate dispositions. A Rescue area vehicle stop cleared without further action.

El Dorado Hills

El Dorado Hills showed theft, trespass and late-night disturbance activity. Grand theft on West Green Springs Road generated a report. Valley View Parkway locations logged disturbance and trespass calls at apartments and retail centers. Deputies handled multiple suspicious and verbal disputes with advisals and assists. Several suspects were gone on arrival.

South Lake Tahoe Basin

Tahoe units handled noise, vandalism and civil process. A noise complaint on Brule Street came back unfounded. Jail property on Al Tahoe Boulevard was the scene of a vandalism case that ended in arrest. Civil papers were served on Tamarack Avenue. Overnight calls were lighter but firm.

Foothill & River Communities — Cool, Pollock Pines, Kyburz

Outlying areas logged identity theft, suspicious subjects and highway-corridor checks. Cool recorded an identity theft report with assistance given. Pollock Pines suspicious-subject call cleared gone on arrival. Kyburz logged a suspicious-circumstances report along Highway 50 with a formal report taken. Rural patrol units closed most calls without arrest.
