El Dorado County (Sept 22, 2024) – The Props, Cops, and Rodders Car Show in Cameron Park, California, is an annual event that celebrates vintage cars, hot rods, aircraft, and law enforcement vehicles. The show is typically held at the Cameron Park Airpark, allowing for a unique mix of classic cars and aircraft on display. It’s a community-focused event featuring live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities.

The Props, Cops, and Rodders Car Show is a family-friendly event with something for everyone, especially the kids! This year, there’s a dedicated Kids Zone packed with interactive booths and displays, plus fun activities like music, bicycle helmet safety, and car seat safety demos. The event will also feature Dental & Medical Trailers, courtesy of the El Dorado County Office of Education, to promote health awareness.

Sponsors such as Red Hawk Resort + Casino, American Furniture Galleries, and CHP – Placerville have stepped up to support the event. If your “kids” happen to be dogs, they’re welcome too—just bring them on a leash, and we’ll provide water bowl stations and plenty of free water for them!

Local law enforcement agencies often participate, bringing patrol vehicles and equipment for public interaction. The show is a great way to enjoy automotive history, meet car enthusiasts, and support local law enforcement.

The Props, Cops, and Rodders Car Show is set for Saturday, September 28th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cameron Park AirPark Estates. This year’s event is more than just a display of classic cars and aircraft—it’s an opportunity to express deep gratitude to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Placerville for their continued support. Special thanks go to Lt. Commander Rick Hatfield, Sgt. Adam Croxton, Officer Andrew Brown, Officer Brent McElmurry, and all the dedicated staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes and will assist on the day of the event. Their contributions are deeply appreciated!
