Conditional Voting Now Open in El Dorado County: Don’t Miss Your Chance to Vote!

El Dorado County’s Registrar of Voters announces key dates and resources for citizens who missed the October 21 registration deadline

Conditional Voting Now Open in El Dorado County: Don’t Miss Your Chance to Vote!

El Dorado County (Oct 25, 2024) — Citizens of El Dorado County who missed the October 21 voter registration deadline still have a chance to make their voices heard in the upcoming November 5, 2024, Presidential General Election. According to El Dorado County Registrar of Voters, Bill O’Neill, unregistered voters can participate through conditional voter registration by visiting the Elections office or any vote center in the county.

“If you missed the October 21st close of registration deadline, you can still register to vote by coming to the Elections office at 3883 Ponderosa Rd. in Shingle Springs, CA, or any vote center in the county to complete a voter registration form and vote conditionally,” said O’Neill.

Important Voting Dates to Keep in Mind:

  • October 22, 2024: Conditional voter registration begins. Voters can register and vote conditionally at the Elections office or a designated vote center.
  • October 26, 2024: 11-day vote centers open across the county.
  • November 2, 2024: All county vote centers open.
  • November 5, 2024 (Election Day): All vote centers open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For up-to-date voting center locations, or to track election activities like ballot sorting and signature verification, visit the Elections Department website at edcgov.us/Elections. Voters may also contact the Elections Department at (800) 730-4322 or (530) 621-7480.
