Reviving the spirit of the Old West, the Highway 50 Wagon Train is set to embark on its nostalgic journey along the historic route. Celebrating its 75th anniversary, this iconic event promises a blend of adventure, history, and community spirit.
Starting from Round Hill, Nevada on June 2nd, the wagon train will traverse through picturesque landscapes, reminiscent of a bygone era. Enthusiasts and spectators alike are invited to witness this extraordinary spectacle as it makes its way to Placerville, California by June 8th.
Here’s a glimpse of the itinerary:
- June 2nd: Round Hill, Nevada to Baker Ranch
- June 3rd: Travel up Echo Summit to Tamarack Pines
- June 4th: Tamarack Pines cutoff to Kyburz
- June 5th: Kyburz to Fresh Pond (Layover day for rest and preparation)
- June 7th: Fresh Pond to Pollock Pines Community Center, featuring festivities, food, and music
- June 8th: Pollock Pines to Placerville, passing through Apple Hill and concluding at Main Street Placerville
