The forum is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Pollock Pines–Camino Community Center, 2765 Sanders Drive. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in a discussion focused on the well-being, challenges and long-term prospects of Pollock Pines.

According to the county, the meeting will introduce the El Dorado Economic Generator and Germination Fund, known as ourEGG, a program designed to support local economic development efforts through community-driven ideas and investment.

“Local economic development is at its best when it’s an open conversation driven by the people who live it every day,” Laine said in a statement. “ourEGG is having candid talks because real leadership means showing up and making sure Pollock Pines is heard.”

County officials say the forum is intended to be interactive, giving residents an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns and offer ideas about economic growth and quality of life in the foothill community.

Light refreshments will be provided, and no advance registration is required.
