El Dorado County Sheriff Arrests

South Lake Tahoe

Blotter Summary

The night shift started rough in South Lake Tahoe when Jose Luis Perez Jr. was collared near Pioneer Trail and Al Tahoe just after midnight on suspicion of driving drunk, with dual DUI counts stacked on the sheet.
By late morning, Sara Ruza Carpenter was booked after police said she was operating a motor scooter under the influence along Lake Tahoe Boulevard while already carrying a probation violation.
At South Avenue, Travis David Naylor landed in custody after officers found a vehicle parked without registration or license evidence displayed.
Three separate traffic-related arrests in one tourist corridor kept SLTPD units busy from midnight through sundown.
The toughest alcohol-related cases came with roadside stops and quick cuffs before traffic could get worse.
Probation trouble followed close behind, with Carpenter facing an added violation count on top of the scooter DUI arrest.
Most of the South Shore arrests were misdemeanor wraps, but deputies still spent the day filling cells instead of writing warnings.
By the end of May 6, the Tahoe side of the county looked less like a postcard and more like a crime desk carbon copy from 1976.

Spotlight:

  • Midnight Booze Cruise on Pioneer Trail — DUI arrest stacks two alcohol counts against Tahoe driver.
  • Scooter Swerve on the Boulevard — Motor scooter DUI lands woman back in violation trouble.
  • Paperless Parking Problem on South Ave — Registration issue turns into a booking report.

Placerville Area

 Summary

Placerville officers and sheriff’s deputies spent May 6 chasing probation violators, narcotics suspects and felony investigations across town.
Jason Edward Lamar was picked up on Mosquito Road for violating post-release community supervision, a felony hold that carries no street-corner sympathy.
Bryon Lee Baker was later arrested nearby on another probation violation case tied to Mosquito Road.
On Spring Street, deputies arrested Matthew Harlow Wolford Jr. on a felony child exploitation material charge carrying a steep $50,000 bail.
Justin Michael Kayslalor was booked on Forni Road for possession of concentrated cannabis, adding another narcotics arrest to the county tally.
As darkness rolled over Main Street, Courtney Dawn Rhinehard was arrested on dual DUI counts after police stopped her in downtown Placerville.
The city’s arrest sheet read like an old courthouse teletype: probation hits, narcotics collars and drunk-driving wraps from one end of town to the other.
For Placerville cops, it was another long shift under courthouse lights and red-blue flashers.

Spotlight:

  • Probation Heat on Mosquito Road — Two separate supervision violations bring felony bookings.
  • Vice File on Spring Street — Felony obscenity arrest carries heavy bail.
  • Nightcap and Handcuffs on Main Street — Downtown DUI stop ends in jail booking.
  • Cannabis Collar at Forni Road — Drug possession bust adds to sheriff’s ledger.

El Dorado Hills / Cameron Park / Shingle Springs

Blotter Summary

Deputies in the western slope communities answered calls ranging from domestic violence to narcotics possession on May 6.
Oscar Losanocortes was booked after a late-night arrest on Palmer Drive involving felony assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury and corporal injury on a spouse or partner.
The combined bail in the domestic violence case climbed to $75,000, making it one of the heaviest bookings of the day.
In Green Valley, Santana Marie Ingram was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.
Later in Shingle Springs, Stephen Perry Robbins was booked on another controlled substance possession count after deputies contacted him on Business Drive.
The western slope blotter showed a familiar mix of violence calls and narcotics cases that deputies know too well.
The Palmer Drive arrest stood above the rest, with felony violence allegations carrying the hardest edge in the county ledger.
By lockup time, deputies had added another stack of reports to the metal trays at the jail.

Spotlight:

  • Violence Call on Palmer Drive — Felony domestic violence and assault charges bring $75K bail.
  • Dope Bust in Green Valley — Controlled substance arrest adds to narcotics file.
  • Drug Collar on Business Drive — Shingle Springs booking follows possession investigation.

Countywide / Outside Agency Holds

Blotter Summary

Outside agencies and county transport units added several more names to the El Dorado County jail roster Wednesday.
Miguel James Duranburbridge was arrested by CHP for allegedly driving on a license suspended for DUI.
Bradley Mark Cardwell was booked from Placer County Jail on a suspended license case tied to reckless driving.
Jon Paul Michael Carney was listed as an informational-only booking tied to Valley State Prison.
Several of the countywide bookings carried no bail, signaling holds and administrative custody actions instead of fresh street arrests.
The transport side of the jail kept moving prisoners while local deputies handled fresh calls on the outside.
No high-speed chases or gunplay marked these cases, but the paperwork pile grew just the same.
In county lockups, the quiet bookings often tell the longest stories.
