EDSO ARREST BLOTTER

June 2, 2026

RED HAWK CASINO / SHINGLE SPRINGS

The loudest trouble of the day came just before midnight at Red Hawk Casino. Deputies booked three suspects after what authorities described as a confrontation involving resistance to law enforcement. Caleb David Perry and Devonn Christopher Pernell were each arrested on felony charges of aggravated obstruction or resistance of an executive officer. Angelena Marie Silveira faces the same felony charge and an additional misdemeanor allegation of battery on a peace officer. Bail was set at $25,000 for Perry and Pernell, while Silveira’s total bail reached $32,500. The arrests occurred within minutes of one another and stem from the same location. All three remained in custody following booking. The casino incident accounted for the most serious cluster of arrests in the daily blotter.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE

South Lake Tahoe deputies logged two domestic-related arrests Monday. Seth Adam Howard was booked on suspicion of battery involving a spouse or dating partner and a probation violation following an arrest on Al Tahoe Boulevard. In a separate case, Alexander Leeanh Hauser was arrested on allegations of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, a felony offense, along with misdemeanor possession of a narcotic controlled substance. Both arrests occurred near the South Lake Tahoe area. Neither booking carried posted bail at the time of entry. Domestic violence allegations continue to represent some of the most serious offenses handled by patrol deputies. Both suspects remained in custody after booking.

PLACERVILLE

A courthouse arrest added to the day’s activity in Placerville. Frank Joseph Escobar was booked following an arrest at Department 1 Courthouse. He faces a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance with prior convictions and a misdemeanor charge of possessing unlawful drug paraphernalia. Bail was listed at $500. Authorities booked Escobar during the afternoon hours. He remained in custody following the arrest.

OUT-OF-COUNTY HOLD

Alyssa Trinity Ann Hall was booked on a felony burglary charge following an arrest recorded at Sacramento Main Jail. The charge alleges burglary involving theft-related activity. No bail amount was listed at the time of booking. Hall remained in custody pending further court proceedings.
