(INEDC) EDSO Sheriff ARRESTS Blotter EL DORADO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA May 13 2026

South Lake Tahoe

Booze, Battery and Domestic Violence Cases Lead South Shore Bookings

A pair of South Lake Tahoe arrests carried the heaviest weight Wednesday after officers hauled in one man on domestic violence and false imprisonment charges and another after a late-night alcohol-fueled disturbance. Police say the Blackwood address case ended with felony allegations involving corporal injury and holding a victim against their will. Across town on South Avenue, another suspect landed in jail on suspicion of simple battery and public intoxication after midnight. Bail in the domestic violence case climbed to $75,000, the highest figure on the sheet. The South Shore bookings marked the roughest edge of an otherwise routine county jail log heavy on probation holds and low-level offenses. Deputies and city police continued the steady churn of arrests stretching from Tahoe to Folsom and Placerville. Another day in the county lockup ledger — short names, long nights, cold steel doors.

Placerville Area

Courthouse Collar and Rodeo Road Dumping Case Fill Placerville Log

Placerville deputies logged a courthouse-related arrest Wednesday when a man was booked on suspicion of driving on a suspended DUI-related license near the Main Street courthouse. Out on Rodeo Road, deputies cited another man on allegations involving an open container and illegal dumping violations. The charges were minor compared to the South Lake Tahoe felony cases, but they painted the same picture found in daily jail sheets — disorder, neglect and repeat offenders cycling through the system. The courthouse arrest carried no listed bail. Neither did the Rodeo Road booking. By sundown, the paperwork was stacked and another pair of names entered the county record. Small crimes. Long paper trails. Same steel doors waiting at the end.

Spotlight Charges

  • “Suspended License Snag at the Courthouse” — Driver booked on DUI-related suspended license charge.
  • “Trash Trouble on Rodeo Road” — Open container and illegal dumping charges filed roadside.

Folsom Area

Probation Violations Keep Deputies Busy in Folsom Corridor

Probation violators made another appearance in Wednesday’s jail ledger as deputies booked two men on revocation holds tied to earlier cases. One arrest came out of Natoma Station Drive in Folsom on a felony probation violation. Another suspect was picked up on Iron Point Road on a misdemeanor probation hold. No bail was listed in either booking. The charges lacked the violence of the Tahoe arrests but carried the familiar smell of unfinished business in the criminal justice system. Probation officers and deputies spent the day tightening old loose ends. Repeat names, repeat charges, repeat trips through the jailhouse gate. The county machine kept rolling.

Spotlight Charges

  • “Probation Hammer Falls in Folsom” — Felony probation violation arrest at Natoma Station Drive.
  • “Iron Point Repeat Offender Pickup” — Deputies book suspect on misdemeanor probation hold.
