GEORGETOWN, GARDEN VALLEY AND THE MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES
Georgetown officers took a domestic violence report on Church Street and responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at Rock Creek Inn on Highway 193, followed by a battery call at the IOOF Hall on Main Street. Garden Valley recorded an arrest following a suspicious-vehicle stop near 711 on Marshall Road, while Shingle Springs, Pollock Pines, Somerset and El Dorado generated additional suspicious-circumstance, burglary and disturbance reports, including an arrest following a burglary-in-progress call on Irish Acres Road.
